• Civil Engineer with a MSc in Transportation Engineering, both by the University of Sao Paulo
• I have been working in the logistics, as well as in the marine insurance business for more than 30 years
• I am currently Head of Marine LOB  and Loss Control at SURA Brazil (affiliated to Suramericana group)
• I am also member of the executive board of CIST – a Brazilian nonprofit organization that congregates several stakeholders of the Marine business such as Insurance and Reinsurance companies, brokers, surveyors, third party providers, risk managers etc
