Gina Venezia is President/Head of Commercial, Americas, in the New York office of the mutual P&I insurer, NorthStandard, a member of the International Group of P&I Clubs.  Gina joined the club in 2021 after more than 20 years as a partner in a leading maritime law firm where she built a reputation as an expert in maritime law issues.  She has extensive experience in the industry and is known for providing practical advice on U.S. sanctions.  At the club, she continues to work on U.S. sanctions as applicable to international shipping.  She is a frequent speaker at industry events and has been recognized as a leader in the field by several publications.
