Juan Carlos Martinez Pinto has been in the insurance industry for over 35 years. Throughout his career, he held significant roles at renowned insurance firms including Seguros Bolivar, Real Seguros, Seguros Aurora, and JLT. In 1998, he started Cargo Risk Management (CRM), which quicky grew across Central and South America. Since 2002, he has been actively involved as an international conference speaker, a role he still fulfils today. In 2015, leveraging his expertise in risk management, he founded Cargo Corp UW, a specialized MGA & Lloyd’s Cover Holder in Latin America. They focus on various lines of business, including marine (cargo and H&M), property, S&T, GL, and financial lines. In 2024, Cargo Corp UW began operating in London, expanding their underwriting of cargo businesses globally.
