Marcus is Global Head of Marsh’s Marine, Cargo & Logistics Specialty, responsible for our business lines and industry sectors globally (Marine Finance, Shipyards, Shipping Companies, Ports & Terminals, Cruise Lines, Logistics companies and Cargo). He was formally the CEO for Marsh’s Marine and Energy practice in Europe, Middle East and Africa and has been with Marsh and predecessor companies since 1994. He has 40 years’ experience in the industry, starting his career as a Protection & Indemnity broker.

Marcus has a Business Studies diploma from Hertfordshire University and is a member of the Marsh Leadership Council as well as serving as a Pensions fund trustee for MMC UK. He is also the Chair of Governors at the London Orphan Asylum (Reeds School) Surrey.
