Sigvald has led the Gard Analytics team since 2018. He joined Gard in 2005 as a corporate trainee and has worked in several departments within the Gard system, which include Risk Management and seven years in Hong Kong as an underwriter serving Gard’s members and clients in Asia.

He has been involved with the Poseidon Principles for Marine Insurance (PPMI) since it was founded in 2021 and currently serves as the Chair of its Technical Committee.

Sigvald has a business background and has also pursued an EMBA while working with Gard.
